What Guides Our Work
Compassionate Presence
We resist the impulse to rush, fix, or explain another person’s grief. We learn to be present, listen well, and honor what is being carried.
Faith-Rooted Formation
We believe compassionate care grows from who we are becoming in relationship with God, not simply from techniques or information we acquire.
Dignity of Every Story
Grief is personal. We honor each person’s story, culture, experience, and pace without prescribing how grief should look or how quickly someone should move through it.
Healthy Care
Compassion includes wisdom, healthy boundaries, self-awareness, and recognizing when additional or professional support is appropriate.
Community
We believe care is strengthened when churches and communities are equipped to share the ministry of presence rather than leaving care to one pastor or a small group of leaders.
